To standardize the implementation of prior orders related to confirmation and in line with the policy of the Office to streamline procedures in accordance with Republic Act No. 11032 or the "Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act", the following are hereby formally reiterated.
- Request fo confirmation shall no longer be required for all transactions that previously required it, if the transaction is within the same Region as the District/Extension Office which initally registered it or which issued its Certificate of Registration (CR).
- Electronic confirmation shall be required for those transactions enumerated under Memorandum Circular No. 2020-2179 (copy attached), if subject motor vehicle is initally registered at a New Registration Unit/District Office located in a different Region to that of the transacting District/Extension Office.
All orders, memoranda and circulars in confilict herewith are hereby revised or amended accordingly.
