The Department of Transportation - Cordillera Administrative Region, with postal address at 2F Postal Building, Session Road Corner Post Office Loop, Baguio City, now invites bids for the Disposal of Unclaimed Impounded Motor Vehicles on "as is, where is" basis.
Bidding will be conducted through Sealed Bid, in accordance to Presidential Decree No. 1729 also known as the Decree Authorizing the Bureau of Land Transportation (now Land Transportation Office) to dispose of Impounded Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles unclaimed by the Owners for a certain period of time and in relation to the LTO Guidelines on the Disposal of Unclaimed Impounded Motor Vehicles and LTO Memorandum dated 02 October, 2019 and Memorandum Circular No. 2021-2270 dated March 09, 2021, authorizing for the orderly disposal of impounded motor vehicles by the agency through public sale.
Bidders who purchased Bid Forms one (1) week before the rescheduled public sale shall be allowed to conduct an ocular inspection of the MV subject for sale after getting authorization from the designated Custodian for Impounded Motor Vehicles of the Office where the vehicle is located.
The Department of Transportation - Cordillera Administrative Committee on Disposal of Unclaimed Impounded Motor Vehicles (CDUIMV) has scheduled the dropping of sealed bids on October 28, 2021 at 9 a.m. at Room 204 YMCA Building, Upper Session Road, Baguio City and the opening of the Sealed Bids by 9:30 a.m. on the same date.
The Department of Transportation - Cordillera Administrative Committee on Disposal of Unclaimed Impounded Motor Vehicles (CDUIMV) has the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process and to reject at any time to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected dealer or bidders.
